Welcome to the Expo Connector
Manual.
Here you will find information on our unique
cooperative marketing events. Our online shows are great ways to build
business contacts, get your business name out to the public, share your
ideas with other business owners, and do a little sales. Think of it as
'public relations with a trade show atmosphere.' Online events are
tradeshows and conferences that are up and open 24/7 - even when our
vendors are not here, their tables are live and the chat rooms are open.
The success of a show depends on everyone working TOGETHER for success.
You will have a Vendor 'table'. Web page product
tables are set up to showcase several of your products and we will
host a chat room for you to have parties or presentations in.
Information tables are just that - you can showcase a couple of
products but must point to your own site for further information. You
will not be able to host your own chat room, but there will be a contact
form on both the Product tables and Info tables.
This a cooperative marketing venue; we require you to actively promote
the events you sign up for and attend:
- We will have buttons and banners for you, as well
as text ads.
- You can add a short signature to your signature line in emails.
- We expect that you will be an active participant in these events;
make time daily to be a part of the social gatherings, group parties,
and seminars that will be available.
- Use the internet greeting cards to the right to send out invitations
to the events.
Hall Leaders are required to actively promote the
events, as well. They receive special considerations for being part of
the shows.
An online event is not a lot different than an offline
show in that the more time you can spend there, the better your chances
are at building vital business contacts and meeting new customers. If
you do not make yourself known at these events, they will not be as
productive as you hope.
Here you will find several pages of ideas,
suggestions, explanations, and benefits we will be giving you as vendors
and sponsors at our events. The sooner you join, the more benefits you
will be able to participate in.
What you get out of an online events correlates to the
efforts you put into them both in promoting, but most importantly,
spending time at the event and sharing your business with other vendors
and visitors.

CO-OP: Join
with Dozens of other business owners who will help and support you. Our
members are looking to make connections and get to know you and your
business. They want to share with you and do business together.
CHATROOMS:
we have great interactive chat rooms where the online expos and other
events will be hosted. These rooms offer private messaging, easy-to-save
transcripts, and vendors will be able to create and host their own party
rooms. Free rooms are available to Small Business Referral Network
members, and all paid vendors of the shows. If you are not a member or
vendor you need to contact us about using a room to host parties - the
rates are very reasonable.

information on online shows and parties. We are going to bring you
information from some great people about how to best host or participate
in online or offline events and shows.
EMAIL GROUP, we host
a vendor's email list so that you can interact with other businesses and
vendors who are part of the shows and events, and keep updated on
upcoming events.
We are here to help you learn
and use this great form of cooperative marketing online and off.
Shows (online or off) are
powerful Networking opportunities and the same rules apply: talk with
others, begin to develop a relationship, and follow up with those you
make contact with.
